A few days ago, I told you to save the date for a one-night-only exhibit called “Pint Size Paintings” at the Sacred Gallery in New York. The event took place on July 9, 2010 and it was incredible! 350 artists displayed works on 2×3 inch art boards and canvases and it was mind-blowing! I walked around the gallery dozens of times and each time, I saw amazing works that I seemed to have missed on previous viewings. The detail and precision of the works were so incredible that it’s really hard to put into words just how cool this exhibit was. I overheard many people at the opening gasping “how in the world did they make that?!” I’d like to thank Kevin Wilson of the Sacred Gallery for telling me a lot of great information about the artists and for throwing one hell of a party that I won’t be forgetting any time soon. For those that missed this awesome event, there is good news – you can get a copy of Pint Size Paintings: the book if you click here. I highly recommend it!
The above picture gives you a perspective of how pint sized these paintings are. See more amazing art from this once in a lifetime show after the jump.
