Your Upraised Hands Hold Nothing Up - Elbow Toe
I was obviously a little late discovering these words of wisdom by Elbow Toe, but better late than never, I always say. If you look closely, you can see that Peru Ana Ana Peru scribbled a little something for us too.

I’m digging these latest works I keep seeing on the streets of New York from Peru Ana Ana Peru. Â Loving the perfect symmetry. Â What about you?

This doorway should be in a museum! Â It’s got work on it by 4 of the hottest street artists on the scene right now: Â KingMe, Elbow Toe, Beau and Jim Joe. Â The bummer with street art is that it’s only visible for a limited time, but luckily for all of us, I was there to preserve this All-Star door for posterity. Â I’m really loving Beau’s tributes to Picasso and Dali that are starting to show up around the city.

On the right panel: "Anytime Anywhere" by Jim Joe

Twilight Feelings by Mark Flood
The Perry Rubenstein Gallery in New York has a great exhibit called “Shred,” and I recommend you check it out.  The exhibit features work by lots of my favorite artists including Faile, Swoon, Elbow Toe, Shepard Fairey, Dash Snow and Leo Fitzpatrick, just to name a few.  As the title of this exhibit suggests, the artists have shredded the commonly perceived notions of the narratives of art.  The results are fantastic and as you will see in this exhibit, these artists have found beauty in things that are otherwise very ugly.  Shred runs through August 27, 2010 and the Perry Rubenstein Gallery is located at 527 West 23rd Street in New York.
See more greatness after the jump.

It's A Sad Day For Somedays - Elbow Toe
I love Elbow Toe and it was a pleasure coming across this doorway with a quote from the artist. Â I think he’s onto something. Â Your thoughts??? Â Click here to see a mailbox that Elbow Toe made much cooler.
