Fall on Your Sword

On April 12, 2010, the electronic trio Fall On Your Sword  opened for the all-mighty LCD Soundsystem at New York’s Webster Hall.  In addition to dancing on the boundaries of electronica and rock, the band had some really cool visuals as the back drop to their 35 minute opening set.  At one point a clever mash up of Meg Ryan’s infamous orgasm scene from “When Harry Met Sally” was spliced with a Michael Caine monologue on the video screens behind the band.  There was also a video of William Shatner being interviewed (and remixed) on a mountain.  The band played original material as well as covers of New Order’s “Ceremony” and Bauhaus’ “Bela Lugosi’s Dead.”  Expect big things to come from this band.
