Farley Granger

Sad news out of Hollywood today.  Actor Farley Granger has died at age 85.  The actor was best known for roles such as that in Hitchcock’s “Rope” and many of the classic MGM movies from the ‘golden age of Hollywood.’  Granger refused to conform to Hollywood pressure and marry his leading ladies, primarily because admitted later on in life he was bi-sexual.  He allegedly had affairs with Shelley Winters, Ava Gardner, Patricia Neal as well as playwright Arthur Laurents and musician Leonard Bernstein.  Obviously, he really worked it for his day!  RIP Farley!
