One year ago today, I launched According2g.com. At the time, I never dreamed that one short year later this blog would have grown into the super-power it is today. Readers from all over the world keep coming back to this site daily to see exclusive pictures of their favorite musicians and artists. The internet is filled with sites that just steal photos from other sources and claim the work as their own and that has been the secret to my success – provide original and worldwide exclusive content. In my opinion, the internet is being overrun by sites that not only steal other people’s material but then do nothing but badmouth the subjects they write about! What is the point of that? There’s enough hatred in the world, according2g.
Over the last year, there have been over 900 posts (which equates roughly to attending three events per day in person, taking original photos and then writing about them, a feat that I have yet to see on any other site across the entire web!) and most importantly, through this site, I’ve been able to turn readers on to discover or rediscover artists, books and musicians – an accomplishment I am extremely proud of. A lot of the people I’ve profiled have written me private notes to express their gratitude for the kind words and for the promotion, and coming from people I have tremendous respect and admiration for, this continues to blow my mind. My stories have been picked up by internet giants such as D-Listed, Brooklyn Vegan, Worleygig, Dr. Funkenberry and Happy Famous Artists, just to name a few, and I am extremely grateful to them for the recognition of my efforts. As always, I thank you all for your continued love and support and I also thank you for taking this journey with me.
Here’s a list of some of my favorite posts over the last year (in no particular order):
Again, thanks for coming back daily to visit this site. You mean everything to me!
With deepest love and gratitude,
