If you are a fan of Roy Lichtenstein’s work, you will definitely want to head over to Flag Art Foundation in New York and check out their exhibit of his work entitled “Intimate Sculptures.”

The exhibit is laid out as if you were in someone’s living room and Lichtenstein’s sculptures decorate the area.  It indeed feels intimate and you may find yourself wanting to be a squatter in this living space.

Obsession by Cary Kwok. Now showing at the FLAG Art Foundation in New York through January 29, 2011

When I set foot in the FLAG Art Foundation in New York, it was my first exposure to the work of London based artist Cary Kwok.  His exhibit “Obsession” is cleverly titled as his works show obsessive detail in the fact that the medium he uses is ball point pen!  The image above is an actual shoe, colored meticulously by Cary Kwok.  The exhibit features renderings of models and homo erotic images.  Definitely worth a visit, if that’s your sort of thing.

See some NSFCMP (not safe for closed minded people) images after the jump.  You can also see some PG rated pictures and Gail’s reflections of this exhibit on The Worley Gig.
