Heads and Limbs
Allentown! Cancel all your plans because I’m about to tell you about an event you won’t want to miss on April 30, 2011. Artists Martina and Frank Russo of the MF Gallery (in New York and Italy) are bringing their work to Allentown for a 2 person show entitled “Heads and Limbs” at Five One Six Gallery at Art N Soul Studios (located at 516 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101). Curated by Frankie Velez, the opening night reception will commence Saturday April 30th, 2011 from 7pm to 10pm and the show will be on display from April 30 – May 26, 2011.

Nemo - Untitled
The Soapstone Gallery in New York has an amazing exhibition currently showing called “Graffolution – The Evolution of Graffiti and Street Art.” The exhibit boasts 44 works from artists such as Billi Kid, Matt Siren, The Me Nobody Knows (TMNK), Royce Bannon, Fumero, and more. It’s really fantastic. The pieces in the exhibit are extremely affordable too (ranging from $350 – $8,000). The pictures above and below are just a tasty little sample of the coolness you’ll see at the Soapstone Gallery, so head on down before August 15, 2010 when “Graffolution” closes. The Soapstone Gallery is located at 11 West 36th Street, 5th Floor in New York. Special thanks to Frankie Velez who gave me so many insights into these wonderful works!
