Today is an exciting day for fans of British pop singer/producer Frankmusik. After releasing the near perfect debut album “Complete Me” in 2009, Vincent Frank put his singing career on hold to produce remixes and songs for the likes of Lady Gaga, Pet Shop Boys and Far East Movement. Well, he’s back and better than ever with a new single called “Fear Inside.” For a limited time, you can listen to the track by clicking here, and I recommend it. The song is going to burn up the charts! Welcome back Frankmusik! We missed you!
When I was in La-La Land last week, I met the very awesome Vincent Frank, known better as Frankmusik. He hasn’t broken big yet in the United States, so he was quite surprised that I recognized him. You might know his remixes though, as he’s remixed everyone from Lady Gaga to the Pet Shop Boys. I saw him open for the Pet Shop Boys at the O2 Arena in London in June last year, and I got the opportunity to tell him how much I enjoyed the show and his album. He was super nice and he also told me a bit of big news… he’s in Los Angeles at the moment recording a new album! His Twitter account left a cryptic message recently saying that he’s “out of here and doesn’t know if or when he’ll be back.” He was voted as Pop Justice’s Prettiest Male of 2009. If you don’t know his music, he could possibly be described as having a Justin Timberlake sound and his album “Complete Me” has so many radio friendly singles, it sounds like a greatest hits album. Check out the video to “3 Little Words” below (possibly my favorite track off the album).
You might know music, but do you know Frankmusik? He opened for the Pet Shop Boys at London’s O2 Arena on June 19, 2009. He’s got soul and he sure is a little cutey pie. His debut album “Complete Me” hits stores on July 27. If you click here, you can download an mp3 sampler of the remix album, “Recompleted,” which will be available as a special edition 2-cd set available on the same day.
