The band Dinosaur Feathers is awesome in so many ways.  Their music has a 60’s garage rock sound infused with funky beats that will make you fall in love with them upon impact of hearing their sound.  Prior to their set at the Mercury Lounge in New York on July 8, 2010, two of the three members (pictured above and below) had taken a break from soundchecking to take a look at a huge fire that was taking place in a huge building across the street from the venue.  They were extremely nice when I met them and we talked about music during our encounter. We both joked that their music is so awesomely scorching that it caused the fire across the street.  If the cops are reading this, they did not actually start the fire, but their music is hot!  If you go to their website, you can purchase their new album “Fantasy Memorial,” and you can preview their sound by grabbing their EP “Early Morning Risers” for FREE! Thanks guys for rockin’ and I am looking forward to hearing big things from you!
