Prepare to be wowed when you go to the Guggenheim Museum in New York for an retrospective of works by John Chamberlain entitled “Choices.” Chamberlain made sculptures out of scrap metal from used car parts and his career spanned decades.
I’d estimate there are no less than 40 sculptures of varying sizes, shapes and colors and seeing all of these works together is extremely impressive. It’s heart breaking that Chamberlain died in December 2011, so he did not get to see the fantastic arrangement of his art in the spiral shaped museum.
“Choices” by John Chamberlain runs until May 13, 2012 at the Guggenheim Museum in New York (located at 1071 Fifth Avenue at 89th Street). Get your art on and don’t miss it!
