Morrissey and Geoffrey Dicker
There are few times in my life I am speechless… Picture it – October 9, 2012 on a misty New York night. When it comes to Morrissey, the internet is divided: if they are talking about his music, you only hear good things. If they are talking about his personality, you only seem to hear horror stories. I can’t speculate on what I don’t know about, but I what I will say (and sorry if this ruins the horrible images you’ve already had in your head), when I met Morrissey, he was extremely nice! Several overseas fans were trying to get a glimpse of the music god and he signed a few autographs (including my “Years of Refusal” cd) and was gracious enough to pose for a photo. Unbelievable! Thanks Morrissey for all the years of great music past, present and future and I am looking forward to your show tonight at Radio City Music Hall! Morrissey! Thanks to a good tip, my night did not end there and I saw several more music legends (though my luck in meeting them ran out). Who would that be? Stay tuned….

Simon LeBon and Geoffrey Dicker
There are some things you never get over and this is one of those things for me. I’ve been a fan of Duran Duran for all of my adult life (dating back to my childhood) and their music has been a constant source of inspiration for me for 30 years. Did I just say that out loud?! To think that I met Jane Fonda, whose film “Barbarella” inspired the name of this band a few weeks ago, and now this, sort of makes my head explode with delight! I’ve seen and met Duran Duran a bunch of times over the years, but all in the “pre-camera” days. June 20, 2012 brought my “Dur-man-ie” fandom into the new millennium as I was able to get photos with the Fab Four! Duran Duran is notorious (pun intended) for getting mobbed by hordes of ‘Duranies’ and one thing that I think is so cool of them (in the experiences I’ve had over the years) is that they try and be as accommodating as possible to their fans in the form of signing autographs, chatting with die-hards, giving hugs and taking photos.
Nick Rhodes and Geoffrey Dicker
I meet a lot of celebrities, rock stars and artists and few are as iconic to me as Duran Duran. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Simon LeBon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor for an experience I will cherish forever!
John Taylor and Geoffrey Dicker
It was John Taylor’s birthday and I wished him a happy birthday prior to this photo being taken. He thanked me and was very nice as were the other guys. Considering the mob-scene, I think I made out alright.
Roger Taylor and Geoffrey Dicker
For once in my life, I am speechless, so I will leave it at “WOW!” and “Thank you Duran Duran for making my life so much better!” Words cannot even express how much I love you. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!

Adele 21 Signed by Adele
Congratulations to Adele for sweeping the 2012 Grammys. I was out living my life so I didn’t see any of the awards ceremony, but I will say this – I’ve met Adele on two occasions and she was so nice both times that it warms my heart. I could not be happier for her and I wish her continued success! She’s so talented and worthy of all the accolades she receives. It makes you wonder why we bother wasting energy on untalented hacks when we’ve got treasures out there like Adele! Change begins with YOU!

According2g would like to wish the babelicious actor Leondaro DiCaprio a very happy birthday. He was born on 11/11 so he was destined to be special. I’ve met the actor several times and though these encounters were pre-Titanic, he was extremely nice. In fact, as you can see from the head-shot attached with the autograph, Leo looked like he did in the picture around the time that I met him. I can imagine that his post-Titanic fame changed a few things about him. I am sure his autograph is probably not every letter anymore and I am sure he’s really hard to get near, but both things are understandable according2g. One thing has remained constant, he seems to get more handsome with age. Happy birthday Leonardo and have a great day!

Jesse Eisenberg and G
You win some, you lose some. Due to a complicated scheduling issue today, I was unable to attend an advanced screening of “The Social Network.” I really wanted to meet Justin Timberlake though so I stuck around. He unfortunately completely ignored little ole G, but I did meet the film’s star Jesse Eisenberg. He was super cool. Thanks Jesse! I cannot wait to see this movie. “The Social Network,” is released on October 1, 2010. You can use that as your status update.
