Everyone knows that I love the use of vivid colors in art.  With that in mind, I was instantly in love with American artist Ian Hughes’ first solo show called Inside Out at the 532 Gallery Thomas Jaeckel in New York.  The images you’ll see in this exhibit are mind-bending and there are many more than what is presented here.  Do these works represent the state of the current world, a past one or what is to come in the future?  Decide for yourself when you check out this exhibit.  The 532 Gallery Thomas Jaeckel is located at 532 West 25th Street in New York and Inside Out runs through June 5, 2010.

Inside Out by In Sook Kim

Unfortunately, the Inside Out exhibit by Korean photographer In Sook Kim at the Gana Art Gallery  in New York has just closed, but it was such a cool exhibit, I wanted to share images with you for those that missed it.  The above image you see is, in real life, the size of a wall and it depicts an apartment building with a glass wall so you can see inside the rooms to see what’s going on at that particular moment.  Of course, in the rooms, a lot of the things taking place are subversive – which means I love it even more!  See some closeups of what is going down in this building, after the jump.  The images are NSFCMP (not safe for closed-minded people), so be warned.
