J.J. Vicars is a singer and musician who has mastered musical styles from Blues and Jazz to Latin, Soul, Pop, Country and Psychedelia. He has played shows around the world and when he’s not touring, he keeps his plate overflowing by working on numerous recording projects simultaneously including The Hillbilly Resistance, a rockabilly trio that Vicars is a member of; Longhaired Leftovers, a collection of previously unreleased tracks; a currently untitled EP that Vicars describes as his most experimental work yet, and “Long Way From Home,” which is scheduled for release in early 2011. The amazing singer Jeremy Gloff has decided that throughout the month of December, he is taking requests to play acoustic versions of his best loved songs. Attention fans of delicious pop music! The multi-talented singer/songwriter Jeremy Gloff has announced the release date for his next album, “21st Century Love Songs.” The album drops on November 14, 2009 and is preceeded by the first single “Oh Sweet Boy.” The video is already up on Youtube and on Jeremy’s official site. The video for “Oh Sweet Boy” was directed by Aubrey Bramble.
“21st Century Love Songs” features a cover of The Grand Royals (Jill Jones and Ian Ginsberg) classic “So Much In Love.” I had the pleasure of seeing Jeremy and Jill perform this song live last year, and the performance was so hot, the audience was left begging for more.
