Jesus Saves

The timing of me posting this is almost spooky but I was once told that there are no accidents.

The very first street artist I ever met was Jesus Saves.  I was with a friend from another country who was visiting America for the first time.  Also a lover of street art, we set out on foot on an expedition that led us to the Bowery/ Houston area.  When we got to that area, we ran into the artist who goes by the moniker “Jesus Saves,” who happened to be putting up stickers as we were walking by.  Considering we were on a “street art adventure,” we found it so cool to catch a pretty famous artist in action purely by chance.  We chatted with him for a few minutes and he even gave us some hand drawn stickers.  My friend and I have looked back on that day so many times over the years with great joy.  I found out the horrible news that my friend who was with me that day passed away today.  As I mourn her death, I would like to thank Jesus Saves for providing an amazing woman who lived an amazing life with a memory that she recalled fondly for the rest of her life.
