Paul Banks (aka Julian Plenti) of Interpol has a solo EP that is out today.  The EP is called “Julian Plenti Lives” and to celebrate, Mr. Plenti is offering the track “Summertime Is Coming” for free for a limited time.  I downloaded mine from A Heart Is A Spade.  Get yours!

Great news for Interpol fans!  Lead singer Paul Banks has announced plans for a new solo album in 2012.  Details are TBD at the moment, including whether or not the album will be released under his alias Julian Plenti, so stay tuned!  Thanks to Prefix for the tip!
