Daniel Kessler of Interpol and G
Daniel Kessler, the guitar player from Interpol, is one of Rock and Roll’s best dressed. He’s also one of the nicest guys in rock. After seeing Interpol live for the first time on June 26, 2010, I know that I am going to have a big crush on them for months to come! Currently on repeat – the Daniel Kessler remix of “Not Even Jail.” Bliss!
Thanks again Daniel!

The Dangerous Book Four Boys by James Franco now showing at the Clocktower Gallery in New York.
After meeting James Franco last night prior to his first ever art exhibition opening, I was extra excited to see “The Dangerous Book Four Boys,” at the Clocktower Gallery in New York. James Franco has mastered so many disciplines and now it looks like he can add art to his ever growing list. The exhibit has 16 areas of sculpture, pictures, performances and video.
The exhibit, based on the wildly popular book The Dangerous Book For Boys, deals with sexual confusion and is quite an interesting hodge-podge of mediums. There is a wooden house as you can see above and inside that is a projection of someone burning it down.
Projection inside the house.
There was another room with a video, narrated by James Franco, of a version of Star Trek where Spock and Captain Kirk get it on. Well, almost. Spock can’t get an erection and instead ejacualtes through his fingertips. Luckily we are spared from seeing that horrifying image that would be enough to turn any kid straight. Ha!

James Franco and G!
On June 22, 2010, I met one of my favorite actors – the tremendously talented and extremely good looking James Franco! The night started off on a down note as I headed downtown to attend the opening for James Franco’s debut art exhibition, “Dangerous Book Four Boys.” The bad news was I RSVP’d to the event after the deadline had passed and the opening was booked to capacity. I tried explaining how fabulous and busy I am to have missed the cutoff, but it was not meant to be. I left my business card at the door, so please feel free to peruse the site and then you’ll understand how I could have missed replying to such an important email! Since I was already down at the event, I figured I might as well catch a glimpse of the star of the evening, so I waited just a few moments, and voila – James Franco arrived.
He was extremely nice and I had to slap my face a few times to avoid passing out from his gorgeousness. When I asked to take a photo with him, he happily obliged and I congratulated him on his latest accomplishment. He said thanks and headed into the event. I’m planning on heading back to check out his art, so stay tuned for a full report. Thanks again James for making totally awesome movies and for our encounter which I won’t be forgetting any time soon!
