Artists are taking to the streets to leave their tributes to Michael Jackson, who died earlier this month. The above photo was snapped in the Chelsea area of Manhattan.
Being a lifelong Michael Jackson fan, I still find it hard to believe he’s gone. In the last decade and a half of his tragic life, he was known more for his whacky off-stage behavior than for the electrifying music that brought smiles to the world. In his death, it seems that people are starting to remember the times when he ruled the world and are feeling remorse for contributing to the tabloid sensationalism that probably drove him to to the prescription drug addiction that ultimately killed him.
The thrill(er) is gone.
