Act Your Age Not Your Shoe Size
Kiss! Lyrics from Prince’s 1986 hit “Kiss,” – “Act your age, not your shoe size,” have been immortalized in street art! In other news from the purple one, his 21 night stand in Los Angeles kicks off tonight at the Forum. Hope all my Prince freax out there have a blast. Apologies in advance that you’ll be forced to endure the purple Yoda sing “open up your bibles and let God guide you to the Purple Rain,” instead of “Morning, noon and night I’ll give you head!” But sometimes, we have to act our age, not our shoe size.

Paul Stanley of Kiss
Happy 59th birthday to rocker Paul Stanley of Kiss. I saw Kiss for the first time live last year and the people and spectacle of die hard Kiss fans was possibly better than the actual show. I’ve met Paul Stanley and he’s a super cool guy! Happy birthday Paul and I hope you get to rock and roll all nite!

Gene Simmons of Kiss
In addition to it being my mom’s birthday today, Gene Simmons of Kiss also celebrates a birthday today. I recently saw Kiss live and it was a great experience. Here’s a few fun facts about Gene Simmons: he was born Chaim Witz in Haifa, Israel on August 25, 1949 and moved to New York when he was a kid. Happy birthday Gene and keep rockin’!
