Great news Minoguers! (Yeah, I just made that up!) The goddess of pop, Kylie Minogue, is releasing a live CD and DVD of her most recent tour, Aphrodite. The show was filmed during her residency at the O2 Arena in London in April 2011. The show was filmed in 3D and shown in European movie theaters for one night only. ”Aphrodite Les Foiles” will be available on DVD (in 3D) beginning November 28, 2011. There will also be special features on the DVD including a never before seen tour documentary. Mark your calendar!

A 3D film of Kylie Minogue’s “Aphrodite Les Foiles” Tour from the O2 Arena in London was shot earlier this year and it will be shown in 3D in movie theaters… for one night only. Save the date, as it will be on June 19, 2011. Kylie’s official website will post participating theaters/cities in the next week.

Kylie! Kylie! Kylie! The Australian pop superstar is 43 today. The first time I saw her live, I was blown away. I’ve been a Madonna fan since the beginning of her career and after seeing Kylie in concert, I truly think that Kylie wipes the floor with Madge. Kylie is sexy and not slutty. Her songs are equally as catchy and the visuals Minogue uses at her shows make a Madonna concert seem even more over-produced and forced than I ever thought when I was catching Madonna live. The rest of the world is in complete agreement, but for some reason, America can’t get into the groove. That worked out great for me as I’ve gotten to see Kylie’s stadium productions in relatively small venues and again, she is incredible. Happy birthday to the impossible princess!

I won’t be forgetting May 3, 2011 any time soon. It’s the day I met pop goddess Kylie Minogue! She was extremely cool. In addition to taking a photo with yours truly, she signed a photo for me that I took on her last tour. Wow Wow Wow Wow! I saw her Aphrodite Les Foiles tour last night and it was incredible. The show features amazing costumes, dancers, acrobatics and music that will put you in a great mood. The show is a must see (and take my word for it – I see several hundred bands a year). All I can say is thank you so much Kylie. I believe in you!
