GD Cucine in Manhattan
The G thing of the day, GD Cucine in Manhattan gets extra bonus points for using both of my initials in their name. The company sells high end kitchen gear. It might be hard to tell from the picture, but the items inside GD Cucine are really cool. Maybe I should work there? Sample phone call, “GD Cucine, this is GD speaking…”

Barry McGee Mural on Bowery and Houston in New York
When I was in Los Angeles, artist Barry McGee was given the opportunity to be the latest person to design a mural on the corner of Bowery and Houston in Manhattan. If you’ll recall from previous posts, this wall has been the home to murals by Keith Haring, Os Gemeos and Shepard Fairey. Miraculously, the wall has not been ruined by vandals as of this writing. Keep it that way, please! There are so many walls in the city that are just crying out to be decorated.
