Hayley Williams (formerly of Paramore)
Happy 22nd birthday to Hayley Williams, lead singer of Paramore. She was born on December 27, 1988! Thanks to a news blerb that I saw that was incorrect when I got the idea for this story. You shall remain nameless. I saw Paramore perform live a few years ago and I have to say, I thought it was like seeing a No Doubt tribute band. Funnily enough, they were the opening act for No Doubt. Whatever, I still wish her a happy birthday! Also birthday shout outs go to Marlene Dietrich (born in 1901) and Louis Pasteur (born in 1822).

Marilyn Monroe by Michael Kalish now showing at the Opera Gallery in New York through May 31, 2010.
Artists Logan Hicks, Anthony Lister and Michael Kalish are showing recent works at the Opera Gallery in New York and all three artists have really great stuff. American artist Michael Kalish has become infamous for using pieces of license plates in his amazing works and some of his pieces live in the collections of people from Nancy Regan to Kid Rock! I was really taken with these unique works of art and I highly recommend you pay a visit to see this exhibit prior to its closing date on May 31, 2010. The Opera Gallery is located at 115 Spring Street in New York.
