It’s unfortunate that the sound quality on this clip is pretty crappy, because “Something Good Can Work” by Two Door Cinema Club is in the running for my favorite song of 2010.  The Irish indie-pop/electronic band are thisclose to becoming huge stars as their music is so creamy and catchy.  I wish them all the best on their way to the top.  The clip you are about to see was taken at TDCC’s first headlining show (of many more to come) in Manhattan on May 12, 2010.  Enjoy!

Here’s the official video:

Mike Diaz of Million Young

On May 12, 2010, Florida electro-pop-rock band Million Young opened for Two Door Cinema Club at the Bowery Ballroom in New York.  I enjoyed what I heard.  I was dancing and groovin’ to the funky electro beats throughout the entire 30-minute set.  Singer Mike Diaz also played electric guitar and had really ethereal vocals that echoed throughout the sold-out Bowery Ballroom.  Sadly, there was no set list posted so I cannot tell you exactly what they played.  Also, not a lot of information is out there on the net right now, but the good news is, at the above link, you can download a handful of tracks by Million Young so you can make up your own mind.  If their live act was any indication of things to come, there’ll be a million strong for Million Young  in no time!
