Happy birthday to supermodel and sometimes hot mess Janice Dickinson. I met Janice a week ago on a cold New York night. Several hours after this photo was taken, she attended a fashion show and on the way out, allegedly walked off with $20,000 of jewels. Don’t ask me what happened, because I am not one to gossip. I am just one to ask people to take photos with me on freezing nights. 🙂 Thanks girlfriend! Hope your day is fab! xx
Twiggy! The supermodel was born today. I’ve met Twiggy a few times and she was nice each time. If you weren’t around when she was the biggest (yet thinnest) model in the world, perhaps you remember her from her role on the British TV series “Absolutely Fabulous.” She hires Edina Monsoon to do her PR and of course, Edina is only able to land her jobs such as a spokesperson for Radical Gay Pride, whose slogan is “Fists Across America – We’re Not Taking It Lying Down Anymore.” Genius!
Also born today: comedian Jimmy Fallon, baseball players Duke Snider and Jim Abbott, country singer Trisha Yearwood, actors Adam West and Jeremy Irons, singers Bill Medley and Mama Cass Elliott.
Final reminder that you have less than 24 hours to get me a fabulous present! Actually, you know that your daily support to this website is more than I could ever want, and I love you for it! xo
Happy birthday to Tony Ward, one of the hottest guys to have ever walked amongst us. The model has appeared in iconic high fashion ads and was also in Madonna’s “Justify My Love” video. He’s currently being immortalized as art (literally) in the exhibit “Ward of the State” at Rivera and Rivera in West Hollywood, California. You can find out more details and see some additional images here.
Los Angeles! One of the most gorgeous men to have ever walked among us, Tony Ward, is being immortalized in an exhibit entitled “Ward of the State” at Rivera and Rivera in West Hollywood. 18 artists (including Greg Gorman, Steven Klein, Patrick Hoelck, Patrick Martinez, Herb Ritts, Estevan Oriol, RETNA, Tony Ward, Paul Rusconi, Bruce Weber, Robert Standish, Michael Gregg Michaud, Jules Muck, Rick Castro, Christoph Schmidberger, Ray Turner and Maya Mercer) have paid tribute to the man and the muse who Paris Vogue called “male icon of the century.” Fashionistas will recognize Tony Ward from his appearances in ads for Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana and Calvin Klein. He has also been prominently featured in Madonna’s racy “Justify My Love” video as well as her “Sex” book.
Pure Hustle by Patrick Martinez
The exhibit is great as you’ll see tributes to the man in paintings, photography and video. You’ll see sides of Tony Ward that you’ve never seen before and you’ll also see sides of him that you’ll want to stare at over and over again.
“Ward of the State” is showing at Rivera and Rivera (located at 454 North Robertson Blvd.) in West Hollywood through June 20, 2011.

There’s a reason According2g.com is so popular. I work it! Where else do you get to see worldwide exclusive photos from your favorite singers and artists 7 days a week? Where else do you get a chance to discover new music and new art from a person who has seen and done more in one month than most people do in 5 years? The answer is nowhere! While other websites spend their energy writing hateful words about people they are jealous of, this site will only try and turn you on to people, places, events and things that just might rock your world. Word of mouth about this site is spreading like wildfire (sometimes from the artists and rock stars featured on these pages) and I am so grateful to you all for spending a few minutes of your day with me. You’ve seen me work it on this blog with rock stars and artists, now see me work it on the runway…
