New York! Make sure you go to the Hole to check out an exhibit by Andre Saraiva, better known as street artist Mr. Andre. One of the galleries (pictured above) features a series of buildings that make up “Andreopolis.”
Also in the exhibit are a statue of Mickey Mouse with a raging hard on and a pink penis that you can literally ride! Genius!
“Andreopolis” by Andre Saraiva runs until August 10, 2012 at The Hole NYC (located at 312 Bowery) in New York.

What a treat to discover not one, but 3 Mr. Andre’s in a row. What a great parking lot!

One of the only good things about the New York venue Tammany Hall is this door that features the work of Parisian street artist Mr. Andre. I’ve been to the newly rechristened venue twice (once for a show and once for a party) and I am not a fan. The venue is totally disorganized (read: security guards kept people waiting outside in sub-freezing temperatures when the venue was empty on the inside AND you had to check in twice after entering the venue) and the performance space has horrible sight lines. Of course, I’ll go back as long as they book events that sound fun, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t have to go there too often.
