As the world waits with baited breath for the release of the as yet untitled 3rd Scissor Sisters album, which is rumoured to be released in July 2010, there’s a bit of news from one of the most fun bands in the world. Lead singer Jake Shears has been writing songs for a musical adaptation of Armistead Maupin’s “Tales of the City.” The stage play is set to debut in May 2011 at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. It makes perfect sense to debut in San Francisco, as the books (and subsequent mini-series) take place there. You can find out more (including ticket information) by clicking here.
