Annoying Art World People
According to Roberta Thorn, here’s a short list of annoying “Art World” people:
Marina Abramovic, Vito Schnabel, Terence Koh, Andrew Kreps, Klaus Biesenbach and Nate Lowman.
I’ve got a few people I could add to that list…
Who’s on your annoying list? Speak up and let your voice be heard – and we’ll make sure to let them know! 🙂

"Trash Landing" by Nate Lowman at Gavin Brown's Enterprise in New York. Now showing through June 18, 2011.
Nate Lowman’s latest exhibit “Trash Landing” at Gavin Brown’s Enterprise in New York continues the artist’s trend of observing modern life and depicting it in art. For example, the above diptych of Jane Fonda and Joan Rivers links the two women as icons of American narcissism. Throughout the exhibit, you’ll see the world’s obsession with violence, celebrity and inevitable collapse in a cleverly organized mixed-media exhibit.
At the bank of the gallery, after you pass through a bank teller window that has been shot at multiple times, you’ll see Nate Lowman’s homage to William DeKooning’s “Marilyn Monroe” as there are approximately 20 paintings, only with slight differences but in varying sizes.
