Ryan McGinness at Pace
As you know, I am a huge fan of Ryan McGinness’ work. I’ve seen his work in Los Angeles and New York and his latest exhibit “Figure Drawings” at Pace Prints in Manhattan brings us more visual eye candy. In the above photo, each color lights up separately – in neon and it’s really awesome.
If neon is your thing, there is lots of that, but there are also many more works that show Ryan McGinness’ range and all the works are guaranteed to take your mind on a trip.
“Figure Drawings” by Ryan McGinness is showing at Pace Prints (located at 521 West 26th Street) in Manhattan through June 7, 2014.

Airan Kang – Luminous Words
If you are in New York, you should head over to the Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery to check out the latest exhibition from Korean artist Airan Kang. “Luminous Words” features paintings mixed with LED displays and it’s a visual treat.
Closeup of the neon bookshelf.
These stacks of books (which are very large in person) are hand painted and where you see white spines in the photos (above and below) are where an LED projection scrolls across giving the viewer a chance to further contemplate the subject mater of these books.
“Luminous Words” by Airan Kang is showing at Bryce Wolkowitz (located at 505 West 24th Street) in Manhattan through April 6, 2013. Don’t miss it!
