Rose Elinor Dougall and G

Perhaps you are not familiar with the name Rose Elinor Dougall? I think that is about to change immediately. The singer has joined Mark Ronson’s band The Business Int’l and one of the songs she appears on (“You Gave Me Nothing” – which also features vocals from Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow) from the album “Record Collection” is poised to be an international smash.  The song is extremely catchy and though the record has been out for just a few short weeks, I’ve already listened to that song over 50 times!  I’ll be posting a live video from Music Hall of Williamsburg of Rose singing “You Gave Me Nothing” which morphed into Mark Ronson’s famous Smiths cover of “Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before.”  It sounded great!  I’m praying that Ronson will produce a full album for Rose, so keep your fingers crossed.  When I met her, she was extremely nice.  Thanks again Rose and I cannot wait to see your name in lights!
