Kanye West Eyes More Red Than The Devil Is

Kanye West Eyes More Red Than The Devil Is by Borbay

New York based artist Borbay is back with his latest exhibit – #KingsOfHipHop.  Borbay has paid homage to 7 kings of Hip Hop: Kayne West, Dr. Dre, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, P. Diddy and Jay-Z.  He juxtaposes the concept of social media with the printed word. His criteria for selecting the 7 kings included the artists being big proponents of social media but also with an entrepreneurial spirit.  Each piece captures the essence of the subject both visually and textually – both in their music and their real life antics.   The opening night reception at Publicis Modem in New York was really fun and I spotted artists Wonder Lee, Ari Lankin and Jeremy Penn in the crowd.

#KingsOfHipHop by Borbay runs through October 15, 2011 at Publicis Modem (located at 85 Tenth Avenue, 3rd Floor in New York).  Don’t miss it.  After the jump see a photo of Borbay and G!

Puff Daddy by Mr. Brainwash

I never thought I’d be desperate enough to post news on Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Sean Combs or whatever that talentless hack decides to call himself.  But since I had a cool photo of art by Mr. Brainwash, here goes nothing…

P Diddy will be releasing a new album called “Last Train To Paris” on June 22, 2010.

I was hoping it was going to be called “Last Album I Ever Release.”  There’s still some hope as June is quite far away.
