A Gentle Kind of Cruelty by Ray Caesar. Now showing at the Jonathan Levine Gallery in NYC through February 19, 2011

British artist Ray Caesar has a really cool exhibit showing at the Jonathan Levine Gallery in New York called “A Gentle Kind of Cruelty.”  Caesar works in Maya, a 3D modeling software used for digital animation effects in film and game industries.  These pictures you see cannot even possibly show you the amount of amazing detail in these works, so I urge you to head over to the Jonathan Levine Gallery and see these works of art in person.

Again, you cannot see from this picture, but inside each dresser drawer is a body part!  Too cool, according2g.  I attended the gala opening night ceremony and I was fortunate enough to meet Ray Caesar!   He was super cool!  See a photo of my encounter with Ray Caesar after the jump.  Thanks again for great art and a great night Ray!

“A Gentle Kind of Cruelty” runs through February 19, 2011.  The Jonathan Levine Gallery is located at 529 West 20th Street, 9th Floor in New York.
