For New York lovers of Rock and Roll ephemera, you have a few days left to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex in Soho before it closes its doors forever on January 3, 2010. I went to the Annex several times and it’s really cool. It has memorabilia from The Beatles, CBGB, Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Elton John and has lots of handwritten lyrics from Jim Morrison, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. The admission to the state of the art museum was a little pricey, so I am assuming that’s why it’s going out of business. Too bad.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex in SoHo has a John Lennon exhibit that is showing now! If you are in the New York area, check it out. The exhibit runs for a limited time, so act quickly! If it’s anything like the Clash exhibit that just closed, you’re in for a treat of rare memorabilia that you won’t get to see anywhere else.
