NYC!  Reserve May 9, 2013 for a night of fun and cool art for a new group show called “Situation Raw,” taking place at the Wix Lounge (located at 10 West 18th Street).

Six local artists will be featured in the show: Jason Borbay, Jeremy Penn, Marie-Dolma Chophel, Brittany Brett, Jake Nelson and Cem Kurtulus. Raw emotion and stream of consciousness thought processes inspire many of the works shown. Each piece in this collection was chosen because of its emotional maturity and vulnerability.

“Situation Raw” will run through May 27, 2013. The artists will be present at the opening reception on Thursday, May 9 from 6-9 p.m. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and by appointment. To RSVP for the opening reception on May 9, 2013 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., please email Rachel Wells: rw@rachelwellspr.com. You can learn more about the event on the official “Situation Raw” website.
