If you are as big of a fan as Icelandic singer Jonsi as I am, you’re going to love this news:  Jonsi will be scoring Cameron Crowe’s latest film “We Bought a Zoo.”  The film will star Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Thomas Haden Church, and Elle Fanning.  “We Bought a Zoo” is scheduled for release on December 23, 2011.

My amazing sense of timing has given me another great experience!  On November 10, 2010, I met singer Jonsi (of Sigur Ros).   Jonsi is performing on his own these days and I was very fortunate to catch his first solo show in New York earlier this year.  As I was walking towards the Hammerstein Ballroom, I saw Jonsi walking down the street with his friend!  He was extremely nice and posed for the above photo with me.  He also autographed 4 photos that I took of him when I saw him over the summer and he complimented me on the photos.  WOW!  Thanks again so much Jonsi for putting on such a great show, for all the great music and for being so very nice!

Jonsi is performing at the Hammerstein Ballroom on November 10, 2010.  Don’t miss him!
