Space Invader
Bad news for the world of street art. Los Angeles police officials have confirmed the arrest of one of the members of art collective Space Invader, whose tiled video game inspired art has been posted on buildings and public spaces across the globe. Invader was in LA for the opening of MOCA’s “Art In The Streets” exhibit. It appears that Invader was let go and his current whereabouts are unknown. Before he disappeared, he was able to affix several of his pieces around Los Angeles! Hopefully, no further charges will be pursued. You can read more on the LA Times’ official site.
