“Strange Wanderings” by Andy Kehoe at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York features a series of oil and acrylic paintings on wood panel. Andy Kehoe’s work is largely inspired by traditional folktalkes and mythology. The worlds he creates in his paintings celebrate the joys of nature. You’ll often find animal-human hybrids celebrating the mystical joys of nature in the vivid works of Andy Kehoe.
I attended the opening night reception for “Strange Wanderings” and I had the opportunity to meet the fabulously talented artist Andy Kehoe. He was very nice and I congratulated him on a wonderful exhibit. See a photo from that moment after the jump.
“Strange Wanderings” by Andy Kehoe is now showing at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York through April 2, 2011. Also on view is another fantastic exhibit entitled “Walking Through Walls” by Gary Baseman. See both of these great exhibits at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery located at 529 West 20th Street #9E in Manhattan.
