Shimon Okshteyn – Standing on the Edge
Russian artist Shimon Okshteyn has a cool exhibit at Stux Gallery in New York called “Standing on the Edge: Post-Digital Paintings” and it’s a fun mixed media visual treat.
The exhibit explores the realms of the subconscious with large scale works that are at times extremely colorful.
This exhibit runs until April 6, 2013 so don’t miss it!

Spanish painter Jose Manuel Ciria is exhibiting his most recent works in a very colorful exhibit entitled “The Execution of the Soul” at the Stefan Stux Gallery in Manhattan. These semi-abstract paintings are from Ciria’s “Rorschach Head Series,” giving the viewer the ability to project emotions, interpretations and meanings onto seemingly ambiguous stimuli.
