Lady Gaga Born This Way x5
I just want to say that seeing the teaser poster for Lady Bohemian Rhapsody Lady We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions Lady Fat Bottomed Girls Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” five times in a row does not make me like the picture more. As you are well aware, the best way to brainwash the masses is by repetition. As you are well aware, the best way to brainwash the masses is by repetition. As you are well aware, the best way to brainwash the masses is by repetition. As you are well aware, the best way to brainwash the masses is by repetition.
PS. When you all watch the Grammy’s tonight and bitch tomorrow about how much they sucked, I’d just like to remind you right on the face of your remote control, there’s a pretty large button that says “Off.” I’ll be seeing live music by live musicians. Isn’t that what music is all about? As you are well aware, the best way to brainwash the masses is by repetition.

Lady Gaga 5.23.11
By now you’ve probably heard Lady Gaga’s new track “Born This Way.” What’s the verdict? I didn’t think it was as bad as Katy Perry or Rhianna, but I was certainly not in any rush to update my G-pod. Above is a teaser poster for “Born This Way” which has been popping up all over New York. One thing is certain, girlfriend needs to eat something. All that touring will kill ya!

Joaquin Phoenix by Shepard Fairey
I’ve had this photo in the G archives for a few days, but I wasn’t sure who the artist was, such as it goes with street art. I discovered today that the Joaquin Phoenix images are by Shepard Fairey! I don’t know how I missed that one since I love Shepard’s work, but better late than never. The posters have been created to celebrate the release of Joaquin Phoenix’ new documentary “Still Crazy After All These Years” ”I’m Still Here.”
OBEY!

New Yorkers! Save the date! July 9, 2010 is going to be a night to remember! The Sacred Gallery located at 424 Broadway, 2nd Floor (at Canal Street) is holding a one night only art show that is going to be amazing! If you’ll recall (and a link is here if you’ve forgotten), last month The Sacred Gallery hosted “Artless: The Exhibition,” and it was awesome. They have possibly outdone themselves this time for “Pint Sized Paintings,” a one night only art show that will host a staggering 350 artists whose works will be displayed on 2″x3″ art boards and canvases! The event is free and open to the public so bring your magnifying glasses and head down to the Sacred Gallery from 7 to 11 pm. See you there!

Here’s a brief teaser (and you can click on any of these images to enlarge).
