T.E.V.I.N!  If you are like me, you’ve been a fan of Tevin Campbell since he released his single “Round and Round” in 1990.  He’s back and he performed at BB King’s in New York on the final day of March, 2013.  A prior commitment kept me from the majority of the show; however, I was on hand for my favorite part of most of my evenings, meeting the performer.  Tevin was extremely cool and I told him that the first time I met him was at a birthday party for Carmen Electra over 15 years ago.  He said that in those days he was a bit of a wild child, so his memory on that meeting was a bit hazy.  The good news is Tevin mentioned that he is 6 songs into his new album, so that is very exciting as that means we’ll likely be seeing a lot more of Tevin in the very near future!   He was really impressed with so many fans bringing his albums to get autographed and he really loved seeing a copy of the 12″ vinyl to “What Do You Want Me To Do” that my friend had brought.

You had to be there to appreciate how funny this moment was, but Tevin, myself and my friend sure got a kick out of it.

Great to see you again Tevin and I am hoping that your fans get to see a lot more of you in the near future.
