The people have spoken: “we want more Liam Fray videos!” Well, it’s my pleasure to present the lead singer from The Courteeners performing an acoustic version of “The Opening” (the opening track from the excellent album “Falcon”) live at Pianos in New York on January 20, 2011.
On January 20, 2011, Liam Fray, the lead singer of The Courteeners, performed a rare solo acoustic set in New York at Pianos. The show was incredible! Liam even treated us to some new songs. One of them is called “Push Yourself.” Enjoy another According2g.com exclusive by clicking play.
I was so excited to get last minute word that Liam Fray, lead singer of the Courteeners, would be making a rare New York City appearance performing an acoustic set at Pianos on January 20, 2011. It’s been 2 years since I’ve seen the Courteeners live, so seeing Liam in the flesh was long overdue. Before he took the stage, I met Liam Fray and he was very nice! I told him what a big fan I was of his music and he thanked me for my support. Both of The Courteeners albums “St. Jude” and “Falcon” are excellent, so definitely check them out for some rock and roll from Manchester. Thanks again Liam for a great show and for being so nice! Looking forward to a new album and please don’t stay away for so long!
You’ll have to forgive the darkness of this video. The content will be more than worth it, I assure you. Liam Fray, lead singer of The Courteeners made a very rare live acoustic appearance in New York last night, January 20, 2011 at Pianos. He debuted a new song called “Winter Wonderland” during his hour long set. Some drunken idiots were doing their best to disrupt the concert. Notice during the chorus of the song, Liam makes some subtle suggestions for those people to shut the hell up! He addresses the rudeness at the end of the song too! Amen Liam! Thanks again for a great show and thanks to all my readers for your daily support.
Without further delay, another world exclusive from According2g.com: Liam Fray singing “Winter Wonderland.” Enjoy!
The year is half over or half started, depending on your point of view. Some people would argue that June marks the half-way point of the year, but those who read this blog daily, aka MY HEROES, you know that nothing I do is conventional.
There’s been a lot of great music I’ve heard this year (thank The Creator) and to celebrate that fact, here’s my top ten list of best songs of 2010… so far.
