The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. Now Playing.

With a title like “The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest,” I don’t see how a movie like that could possibly be bad, and I was right in my assumption.  The “final” film in the Lisbeth Salander saga has a worthy conclusion (without giving away any spoilers).  Lisbeth once again kicks ass, has great hair and makes smoking cigarettes look sexy.  Noomi Rapace plays the character of Lisbeth Salander perfectly, and it’s disgusting to me that an American remake is already in production!  I am sure it has to do with the fact that Americans are simply too lazy to read subtitles for not one, but three films.  Perish the thought!  Without seeing a second of the as yet unreleased American versions, I can tell you to not bother to even waste your time.  There is no way anyone can play these characters better.  Stick with the original trilogy and if you need extra drama that the films may or may not provide for you, read up on the saga behind the death of “Dragon Tattoo” author Stieg Larsson, his scorned female companion and his money hungry family.
