Hot band alert!  The UK electropop band The Good Natured visited New York’s Mercury Lounge on January 15, 2012.  I’d never heard any of their music until they took the stage and I liked every song I heard tonight in their 8 song set.  Their music is upbeat and has a great groove.  Lead singer Sarah McIntosh’s voice reminded me of bits of Ladytron and LaRoux.  The audience was loving the show as well, especially when Sarah McIntosh performed in the crowd.  People were yelling out to hear The Good Natured’s single “Skeleton,” which was the final track of the night. You can download a free mp3 of another great track “Wolves” on The Good Natured’s website.  I am looking forward to hearing more great music from this group and Sarah told me that the album should be completed by the end of January.  Watch out for The Good Natured.  They are going to be big!

See the set list as well as photos from my encounter with the band after the jump.
