Plan B’s 2011 Plans

Singer Ben Drew, who is better known as Plan B, is going to be a very busy man in 2011. He’s currently on tour in support of his soulful/pop album “The Defamation of Strickland Banks,” which is up for a ton of awards internationally. The singer also announced that a film entitled “Ill Manors,” which he directed, is aiming to be released in early 2012. Plan B notes that before November 2011, he needs to write the soundtrack to the film, which is a multi-character story, set in the tough streets of East London where everyone is fighting for respect. He’s also putting the finishing touches on his hip-hop album “The Ballad of Belmarsh,” which he also hopes to release before the end of this year. ”The Defamation of Strickland Banks” will probably get a US release date this year as well, and you know what that means - more live shows! If you get the chance to see Plan B live, I highly recommend it. His voice is amazing and his music is very catchy. Good luck B!
