Tracy Morgan and G

File this one under totally random!  I was coming home from a night out on the town (a total shock, I know) when I was passing Subway sandwich on the corner.  I looked in and saw 30 Rock’s Tracy Morgan sitting inside.  So of course I walked in and said hello!  He was sitting inside with a bunch of people and they were all talking. He invited me over to his table and filled me in on the conversation he was having!  He was super cool when I asked to take a photo with him.  I told him that I lived on the same street as the Subway and he thought I said that I lived on the street.  He gave me a pep talk about what I could do to turn my life around.  I corrected him and said that I lived “on THIS street, not on THE street” and we all shared a nice laugh.  I left Subway to discover that 30 Rock was filming on my block.  I didn’t see the rest of the cast, but this is the 4th celebrity I’ve seen on my street which once again brings me to this conclusion:  I love New York!

PS.  Recently, Tracy Morgan got into trouble for making disparaging remarks about gays.  While I think he’s a total dickhead for saying the things he said, it’s not like all of us haven’t made disparaging remarks about someone or something in our lives, so GET OVER IT!  Based on the encounter I had with Tracy Morgan, he was very cool and was not homophobic AT ALL.  I have no idea what he believes behind closed doors and neither do you!  Frankly, I don’t really care either.  If you do, perhaps you should add that to your list of things you might want to examine…
