Not much needs to be said about “Colorfall” by Ian Davenport which is showing at Paul Kasmin Gallery (located at 293 Tenth Avenue) because the works can speak for themselves.  If you love geometric, mind-bending and extremely colorful paintings as I do, you will not want to miss this exhibit.  However, if that ain’t your bag baby, then you probably won’t get that much enjoyment out of “Colorfall.”  Read more about the exhibit here.

Do not adjust your eyes!  In a mind bending and visually stimulating exhibit, Holton Rower’s “Focus Paintings” at The Hole NYC will take your brain on a trip.  His “pour paintings” are a great amalgamation of the work of Linda Benglis, Damien Hirst and Gerhard Richter.

You will find yourself wanting to stare at these paintings for a long time, so be sure to allow yourself a nice window with which to do so when you visit The Hole.
