Will Smith

Will Smith

When Will Smith was known as rapper The Fresh Prince, I loved his music.  He made quirky rap songs that told hilarious stories of his blunders trying to make out with women to getting his ass kicked by Mike Tyson.  The natural progression was to take the leap into acting and his show “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” became a Monday night staple for me. Then Will Smith started acting in movies and aside from “Six Degrees of Separation,” I cannot think of another Will Smith movie I like at all.  Such a shame.  However, I can’t imagine he cares what I think as his action films have been some of the most successful movies of all time.

Also born today: actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband, actor Michael Douglas, actress Heather Locklear, actor Mark Hamill, interviewer extraordinaire Barbara Walters, baseball great Phil Rizzuto, and writer William Faulkner.

Shepard Fairey rip off - "Fresh"

I saw both of these within a matter of hours in different parts of town, so now you are the lucky recipients of seeing Will Smith as street art.  Anyone have any clue why he’d be such a hot topic years after he has proved time and time again that he can make the dumbest movies of all time and they can still make over $100 million at the box office?  Enlighten us!!!

oooh, snap!
