Willy Mason

On October 16, 2010, New York singer-songwriter Willy Mason opened for Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan at Bowery Ballroom.  Willy Mason is only 25 years old and he already has already been the support act for Death Cab For Cutie, Damien Rice and Radiohead!  His voice is deep and for the entire duration of his 30 minute acoustic set, you could hear a pin drop as the crowd hung on his every word.  One of my favorite tracks Willy Mason has sung on is the Chemical Brothers’ track “Battle Scars,” from their album “We Are the Night.”  I met Willy Mason after the show and he was super cool.  Thanks Willy!  His EP “So Long Baby Shoes” is available now.
