Not the biggest fan of his music, but was happy that when I met Wyclef, he was a super cool guy. He was going to run for President of Haiti, but I think he was disqualified somehow. It’s probably better for his safety that he remains an activist instead of a political leader. We want him to keep celebrating birthdays!
Also born today – my brother! Happy birthday, Bro! Love ya!

Wyclef Jean and G.
On the streets of New York, I met sometimes Fugee and solo artist in his own right, Wyclef Jean. I’d like to thank Wyclef for being cool enough to pose for a photo as he was out and about on a really gorgeous day. His self-titled solo album will be released later in 2010.
Please honor the purpose of Mandela Day by doing random acts of kindness, no matter how small, to make the world a better place.
Enjoy some photos of Wyclef Jean (formerly of the Fugees), rocking the crowd at the Mandela Day concert celebration on July 18, 2009 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
