"Liquidated Version" by Zevs. Now showing at De Buck Gallery in New York through April 7, 2011.

The De Buck Gallery in New York is celebrating its grand opening with the art of Zevs (pronounced “Zeus”).  In Zevs’ first solo exhibition in New York, “Liquidated Version,” combines street art and sculpture.  The French artist has crafted wonderful works that target the current worldwide economic crisis.

Zevs acquired his name in the 90s after nearly being hit by a Parisian metro train, named Zevs, that almost hit him.  Using his trademark style of “liquidation,” Zevs targets the logos of well known corporations who are driving consumerism and greed to unprecedented levels.

“Liquidated Version” by Zevs is now showing at the De Buck Gallery in New York through April 7, 2011.  Stop by the gallery and welcome them to the neighborhood.  The De Buck Gallery is located at 511 West 25th Street, Suite 502 in Manhattan.
