Archy Marshall of King Krule

On January 11, 2012, UK’s darkwave/reggae/dubstep band King Krule played a sold out show at Manhattan’s Mercury Lounge.  King Krule’s lead singer Archy Marshall is only 17 years old!  Wow!  Also known as Zoo Kid, Archy Marshall has been releasing albums since 2010.  In fact, he played the title track of his 2010 release “Out Getting Ribs” as an encore.  He also played many tracks off his recently released EP “True Panther” including “Bleak Bake,” “Portrait in Black and Blue” and “Lead Existence.”  The future is very bright for King Krule as they are blowing up in their native UK and have been offered a plum spot as an opening act on Girls’ 2012 US tour.   Best of luck to King Krule!
